About Chris
Chris Block is from Toledo, Ohio, and has spent his life in multiple states, including Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Georgia. However, Chris has spent much of his adult life in Toledo, as he graduated from University of Toledo with a Bachelor of Arts.
Work as a fundraiser for environmental nonprofits on the East Coast took him away from Toledo until he returned to work at a legal firm that provided business- and tax-related services. There, he spent 15 years honing his skills in accounting and IRS negotiation.
When he is not working, Chris spends time as a ref to Midwest soccer games, refereeing players from kids to college-aged athletes. Chris also enjoys e-racing, playing golf with his league, and spending time with his wife and cat.

I didn’t make much last year. Do I need to file?
Yes, the IRS has 10 years to collect from when a return is filed, and if you don’t file, they can use all your income from that year and collect at any time. Even if you didn’t make that much, its better file.
I want to start a business. What do I do?
